Terms of Engagement

The following terms apply to all custom design and/or ready to wear orders with Zalou Creatives:

1. Process

• Consultation: Initial discussion to finalize the design concept and specifications.
• Design Approval: Approval of sketches or design concepts before production begins.
• Deposit Requirement:
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production starts.
  • This deposit is used to purchase the materials needed for your project.
• Production Timeline:
  • Timelines are project-specific and communicated during consultation.
  • The timeline may vary due to material availability and the complexity of the design.
  • Any changes to the timeline will be communicated promptly.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid before the final product is released or collected.

2. Policies

• No Refunds:
  • Absolutely no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
  • Only adjustments will be made to resolve client concerns.
• Adjustments:
  • Adjustments to the design are allowed to a reasonable extent to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Major changes or new requests after production begins may incur additional charges.
• Payment Terms:
  • The project will not commence until the deposit is received.
  • The final product will not be released if the remaining balance is unpaid.
• Shipping Fees: All shipping fees are the responsibility of the client.
• Client Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate measurements, communicate promptly, and respond to approvals in a timely manner.
  • We cannot be held responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete or incorrect information.

What Qualifies as a Custom Design?

• Personal Measurements: Any design created using your specific measurements.
• Unique Sketch or Concept: Any design sketched or developed specifically for you.
• Inspiration-Based Recreation: Any design where you provide inspiration (e.g., photos or examples) for us to recreate.

By placing an order and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
